Building Your List

We, like others, know there are thee types of list:

  1. Your customer/prospect sphere list
  2. Response Lists
  3. Complied Lists

The first list is anyone who will personally endorse you and/or your services...anyone. 20% of those you know will refer you without asking and 20% will never refer you regardless. That leaves 60% of the people you know that will refer you if you simply ask. It is a goldmine of untapped business.

A response list is composed of people who have taken an action of some kind to get on the list, usually sold on a one time use basis.

Compiled lists are derived from public records such as yellow pages, directories, phone research, and government data. Although less expensive, these are not very productive lists since the addressee has taken no action to get themselves on the list.

If you truly understand the principles of good marketing, you will know your list must be built by you! We believe you can build your business beyond expectation by spending a few hours initially creating the right list...then adding to it. Focus on that. Never stop thinking about that. Own your market.
